I think a PRO would be that one can express her ideas without interruption or feeling shy. One CON could be that one might not feel connected to the discussion like in a real class.
ReplyDeleteOne pro of blogging is that we can discuss things outside of he classroom. A con of blogging is that it's more work!!!
ReplyDeleteI think a pro is we learn a different way to answer questions and I think one con is it may take time and is another way for you to give us work.
ReplyDeletePRO- a good thing would be that everyone can share ideas with everyone else.
ReplyDeleteCON- some people could not agree with the ideas.
I think that one PRO of blogging is that everyone has a chance to express themselves. One CON is that its more work and time consuming.
ReplyDeleteI think that a PRO of blogging is that it is a good way to discuss the book with the class while not in school. A CON of blogging is that it is more work and time consuming.
ReplyDeleteA pro is that we are able to answer questions on the computer. A con is that anyone can see our answers.
ReplyDeletePro would be that we can talk to you when not at school and I can't think of any cons.
ReplyDeleteA pro about blogging is that by having questions about books and being able to discuss them, will help us understand the book better.
ReplyDeleteI think a PRO of the blogs is that it is an easy way to communicate with the other students. One CON of the blogs is that it is time consuming and sometimes confusing.
ReplyDeletePRO (:
ReplyDeleteIt puts the question in print, and will make the question easier to understand by talking to others.
CON :(
Sometimes more work depending on how long/detailed the question is. :P
I think one pro of having a blog for English Class is that it's easier to search for sources and answer questions because you are already on the internet. Instead of having to go get a dictionary and leave your computer running, you can just go to a dictionary site. One con of having a blog is that you do not have a one-on-one interaction; you also are not able to get a question answered as fast as if the discussion was live.
ReplyDeleteOne PRO for blogging in english class is that it is a new way to talk about english outside of school. One CON for blogging in english class is that it gives us more work to do at home.
ReplyDeleteA Pro would be that it is more easier to communicate with other students and the teacher.
ReplyDeleteA Con would be that if your computer or power was down then it would be hard to access and sometimes can be a little confusing.
A PRO about blogging is that we can get better at using HIGH TECH technology, and will be able to use our new skills in the future.
ReplyDeleteA CON about blogging is that if you aren't good with computers, or don't have one at home (although I don't think anyone doesn't have one), then you will not be able to blog that easily.
A Pro of using a blog is that we are able to have class discussions outside of the classroom as well as in it. But a Con is that using that we become more reliable on technology and many people, such as myself, have trouble using technology.
ReplyDeleteA "pro" about blogging is an easy way to communicate and a good way to discuss the book. A "con" is that is takes time and work
ReplyDeleteOne PRO would be that we can communicate quicker and easier than email, and a CON would be i do not wanna forget how to get to the page. /:
ReplyDeleteA PRO about blogging is that you can express your feelings about a topic outside of school.
ReplyDeleteA CON is that it can be sort of confusing to do this. (:
One PRO for blogging is everyone has a chance to state their own opinions. One CON for blogging is you do not have a class discussion.
ReplyDeleteHey Mrs. King! Well one PRO of blogging for English class is that is a great way to communicate with our classmates and you; however, one CON of blogging is that many people may forget to comment or post something AND it is just time consuming (like Emily K. posted) and many people may (well from my thinking) feel nervous to forget to post a comment. I just wanted to add that if this is going to be the homework for a day instead reading and/or grammar work, then that's great; however, if we have other homework along with it, one may forget (I think I'm writing too much:)) to post whatever homework they needed to do that night. :)
ReplyDeleteA pro of blogging would be that we are able to discuss topics that everyone can participate in without being shy.
ReplyDeleteA con would be that it takes a lot more work to log in and such..
A PRO for blogging is that we can talk outside of class and discuss questions.
ReplyDeleteA CON for blogging is that if someone doesn't go on the computer every night or check their blog every night, they may fall behind.
One Pro is that it is an easier way to communicate and it is faster and better. One con is that if we have any technical difficulties at our house or school we would not be able to use it.
ReplyDeleteOne pro would be it is easier to spread ideas and thoughts and hearing EVERYONES opinion. One con is that it is that some people are too busy to check their blog.
ReplyDeleteOne Prog would be that we can all state our opionions openly. but one con would be it is easy to forget to check your blog.
